I forgot to remind everyone to bring folding chairs. It is going to be pretty warm tomorrow with a high of 89F but only a 10% chance of rain. I'm sure that we will find some shade trees to hang out under!!! Should be getting cooler in the afternoon & of course we do have ice cream to fall back on.

I'm excited. It looks like we will have 8 cars which I think is a pretty good turn out for a FL even with 2 wks notice!!! I still have to go home & wash my car. It was supposed to be done last night but the a/c went out in my daily driver yesterday so for the next few day the XF is my daily driver. It was clean but it got rained & road splattered on doing its daily driver duty. Good thing I enjoy washing my car!!!

It looks like the Books are going to meet us around 4pm so we can all roll into the show together.

Don't forget your folding chairs!!!

 

You folks have a good time. I am still waiting for a friend to help me bleed brakes.

I will help organize another gtg in the near future, hopefully including more of the south florida folks (amx, randy, etc)

Such a shame that the show didn't materialize due to bad weather. At least some of us got together for some eats at Gators and then some ice cream where the show would have been. Great see you guys and finally nice to meet you John. See some of you at a future gtg.

I'm sorry that I've been out of the loop... I have been busy at work and would be happy to help with a GTG in the near future. What would you folks think about another GTG at Trimble Park in Mount Dora like we did a few years ago? I drove my the New Smyrna Speedway last week and remembered some good times. Please let me know if I can help or get a new GTG started.

 

It was nice to meet you as well. I look forward to seeing you run your car at the track sometime. THanks to everyone who showed up in spite of the weather. Look forward to doing it again in the near future. It sure is nice to see seven great looking cars in the same parking lot

 

Tim, Trimble Park was great.....I still have it in my GPS waiting for the next one. We talked with Kim about a track night (maybe Bithlo) sometime soon and she is going to check with the track. Let us know and I will surely try to be there.

I would love to do another Trimble Park picnic. That was a great time!!!! We can still do a track day too. A Funday Sunday might be cool for those people who need to travel to get there. I will look into it & post options.

I wish the weather had been good but it's always great to get together with you guys & talk cars. We will have to plan another one really soon!

 

I'll be at Bradenton drag strip next Sunday 5/22 at the SRT-4 challenge. Did you say '04 SRT-6? Funday Sunday will be at Bithlo on June 5th.

 

Thanks for pointing out the error on the year of my car, I fat fingered my post. My car is of course an 05 SRT-6 not an 04. At least I got my city right, I do live in Bradenton.
