This Is going on the Weekend of May 14th and 15th at Raceway Park in Englishtown New Jersey.

I've been going there to this show on and off for the better part of the last 10 years and never once have I seen a Crossfire there, so I figured now that I have a Crossfire, It's time to crash the party.

The majority of the cars there are late model Chargers, Challengers, 300s, and Magnums (Hence the LX Forum Mopar Nationals)

There is also a large crowd of Classic Old School Mopar Muscle from the 60's and 70's.

Now I already know that I'll be showing up as the red-headed stepchild of the group getting funny looks from the younger and older crowds. Overall I figure X-fires will get more respect if they show in numbers.

This is not only a show and swap meet but an optional drag race as well with a couple of different classes. (Wouldn't it be awesome if a couple of little X-fires showed up some of the big HP Mopars?)

Drag racing schedules for Top Fuel Dragsters, Funny Cars, Modified, motocross racing, monster truck shows in NJ, and other fun group activities.

 

This might be a fun thing to come out to...I still have DRs, but am thinking about selling them without even using them. I rarely have time.

It will still be fun to rip off a 12.4 or 12.5 on street tires.

 

So the gods were smiing on me all day on Saturday... Apparently it was raining pretty hard to the south of Englishtown NJ and there was some precipitation to the north as well. However, did my car get wet at any time... Nope I was able to drive to and from Raceway Park without seeing a single rain drop or driving through any puddles! To top that off though, my crossfire won the the people choice award for its class and I got to meet a guy with a C32 AMG who was putting down some quick times (He had mostly Eurochaged parts and a tune a was raving about how great those Eurocharged guys are, so I guess when I start tinkering with my car I know who to call)

Yes the Eurocharged guys have made a pretty good name for themselves.
