good representation for us
Well folks, just got back from a long hot day at a major car show in Merrimac MA. (Skips) Out of 515 awsome cars (12 throphies) my crossfire took best modern classic.
So many people had no idea what the car is. Several skeptical folks thought I was fronting by putting a MB badge on my engine cover. Others thought I had put a MB motor into the car! Met a XF owner from indiana and told him about our forum. BTW, I had the only XF at the show too.
I still cant believe I nailed a throphy! I'll post some pics of the competition later on

At the risk of diminishing your post, most of us here are not surprised. Your "Nina" is exceptional, even on a bad day.

Congrats on your win. It is fun to hear the comments of people that don't know our cars or better yet the ones that don't know our cars but think they do. We had six crossfires at the 2009 Eurocar fest and heard some great comments from the public. The funniest was a man telling his teenage son that our cars were made by Buick and he couldn't understand why they would be allowed at a Euro car show. We set him straight before he left as he hadn't a clue.
