Default Lame show

Went to a local show put on by a car club of guys in their early 20's. They put my car in the import other catagory cause they wernt sure where to put my car?! I got judged with a 06 Chevy Monte Carlo, a Neon and some other oddities that made no sense. Found out at the end there was a Euro catagory that would of put me up with 2 nice audi A4s and a beat up BMW (which took first?!)

The judge seemed to be a kid that got stuck judging and was just in a hurry to be over with it. I followed him around in the background to see who else he was judging and all his friends were teasing him like he got stuck walking an ugly dog or something!

This was my first show with a totally younger crowd. The emphasis seemed to be of lights that flashed and stereos. I got 2nd place in the DOMESTIC catagory...don't ask me how that got changed from import OTHER.

All in all kinda lame. I did meet one cool guy and got some ideas from other cars but really not my kind of show....it was more of a circus.

Pooly

That Nissan 300zx in the back ground nailed 3 throphies but he deserved them all! Very awsome car!

At least I got something

Putting German engineering up against domestic metal instead of the other European brands sounds like a bonus to me.

In '03 I was driving a Focus SVT so I am accustomed to being over looked and under appreciated.

Am I repeating myself? Again.
