Hi everyone. There is a car show just for all SRT's at Bartow, FL on May 5th. I posted the link below for anyone who is interested. My son and I will be attending this 1st year event and hopefully some more SRT6 Crossfires will represent. Bring your cameras!

I fear we will be the outcasts at this show. Those HEMI folks don't take too kindly to us most of the time. Maybe it'll be different. Here's to hanging out with Neal and Chris at least.......oh, yeah, Kim too.

 

Glad to report that we were welcomed at this show. We come home taking 1st(me) and 2nd(Neal) in the SRT-6 class! Third place went to a tuxedo roadster. Loads of Vipers, Chargers, Challengers and Skittles(Neon SRT-4) on hand, but no SRT-10 trucks. Will be going to this show again next year.

 

Damn......I registered to go, but the Wavetrac is still in transit from Anaheim.......I'll go next year.

 

That was fun but a little hot standing around in 90+ degree weather. Congrats Chuk and a job well done. I knew we were guaranteed the trophies!

It was a really nice time. I slightly resemble a cooked crustacean but they did have courtesy tents out there for shade. I wish that Chris had been able to attend. I think that this is a show that will continue to build thru the years. They put a lot of effort in - this is a smaller CJD store. They had Crossfires, Vipers, Calibers, Grand Cherokees, Chargers, Challengers, Magnums, 300s, and Neons there. Like Chuk said, a Ram truck would have made a perfect set. The show runner, Clint, was a really nice guy. He really loves the SRT6 and said its the only car he has ever owned that he regrets selling. That's strong coming from a CJD guy running an SRT show.

I was really excited to see Chuk & Neal come in 1st & 2nd in the class. Next year we will be attending but we will have to bring a tent or portable umbrella for sure!!!

 

10-4 on the tent... we always take one....fits nicely in the coupe....SOL in the roadster...lol...

 

Chris has a tent that he always brings to cover his car and sit under. I should have borrowed it this time. Next availabke show for sure.
