Note to anyone heading to Carlisle on Saturday morning from DC Area. I'm planning on leaving for Carlisle at about 6am Saturday morning and would like to know if anyone would like to join me for the ride. Please post up here or send me a private message and we can make plans.

US 15 N to Dillsburg PA
74 N (York Rd) to Carlisle

Can leave a bit later as needed but I would like t arrive at 8:30 when the balance of the Xfire group (staying in Carlisle) plan to arrive.

The wonderful heat wave that we are experiencing here in the Mid Atlantic area will continue through Saturday and it is expected that we will see 100+ degrees on Saturday. Please make sure you bring sufficient water, cool clothing (and I don't mean cool like Tony ) and sun protection - umbrellas even.

Hey I think Wal-mart has battery operated water spray bottles with a fan attached.

 

We have his and hers chair with canopy and fan set up, we will be cool..

 

Be safe out there in the heat zone....it's 103 here today.... Can't get in the mood to do much of anything this week. Took me 3 days to clean the garage...lol I want to see some photos......have fun everyone..

 

I'll miss the people but not that heat.
I have my sights on a cool pool this weekend.
