Congrats man! To date, I haven't entered any "awarded" car shows with the '6.
I entered in one for *****-and-gigs a year ago with the Limited, and the judges were confused whether to list it as a domestic or a euro...
Tried domestic first, then they wanted a mod list. So, I submitted one that included Mercedes-Benz, AMG, Eurocharged, Startech GmbH, Ansa and got the deer-in-headlights look. They switched me to Euro, and I was ultimately beaten by a mid-60's Beetle (owned by my uncle-in-law).
Graded car shows aren't normally my thing, but I may give one a whirl eventually.

Yea, I think they were kinda smart at this show : 5 classes :
60 and prior cars
61 and later cars
60 and prior truck
61 and later truck
motorcycle.
not a lot of confusion or fudging there .....
BTW, a 1964 International cabover won the 60+ truck - had 780,000 miles and guy had worked his butt off restoring it. He said it spent it's life hauling oranges in Florida, and he was one of the original mechanics working on it for the company......

alaxfire - congratulations to you! It is clear that there are 'someones' out there who care about 'prettier and faster'...... No one ever passes something Inferno Red without notiicing..... congrats on the win!

Congrats.. I won my first show with my Crossfier back in 07 now up to 42 awards. SRT so far 8 awards and 12 with my 82 Firebird. I spend a lot of weekends at car shows..
Our cars attract a lot of attention, and it always feels great whenever we see somebody admiring our rides.
But winning a trophy or a plaque, "validates" it.

Congrats
Hey Tony, do you have a His & Hers "dedicated" awards wall in your house?

Where was the show? I am not too far from you, Florence Al. I have been looking for car shows around north Al. I went to Winfield's "Mule Day" sat. They had about 100 cars.
BTW, we have a BIG yearly car show here in Lineville, AL the first weekend in November at the city park.
Last year there were 1000+ cars on display, maxcichon and I parked our twin roadsters together and got a lot of attention.
Come down and join us if you can !!!!!

I sort of do Mike, I have each cars awards in it's own separate section in our den.
maxcichon and I both have 2005 red roadsters.
If I can talk cjw and blacksrt-6 into coming up from Millbrook, then we can add 2 black srt6 coupes, they also have a srt6 black roadster.
3 NA roadsters, 2 SRT6 coupes and possibly a SRT6 roadster.
me - N/A roadster
maxcichon - N/A roadster
you - N/A roadster
blacksrt-6 - SRT6 coupe
cjw - SRT6 coupe
blacksrt-6 - SRT6 roadster
Saturday 11/3 is swap day, Sunday 11/4 is show day
directions for you :
from B'ham, take I20 east, exit on US431 south, turn right on Highway 9 at the 4 way stop.
Then about 17 miles to Lineville.
Probably best if we can all meet at my place, then go to the show together so we can park together, say around 8:30 - 9 AM. ( any later, and parking is a problem )
When you get to Lineville, turn right at the second stop light, my driveway is on the right just past Perryland Foods.
Congrats, it does feel good does it not. I started showing my cars way back in 1981 with a Trans Am that I had at the time. Over the years I have shown 7 or 8 different cars with all but one being daily drivers. My 1986 Daytona Turbo Z which we bought new has won over forty awards but it's a garage queen with a little over 7500 miles. Even my Jeep Cherokee has won 5 or 6 awards. I am sure that the Crossfire will see two or three shows in 2013. MY brother and I used to take our cars to 10-15 shows a summer but now a days it's 1 or 2 a year.
Congrats Alan great job. Thanks for sharing the slide show. What a walk down memory lane for me. All thoes fast 60's cars we tried to kill ourselves in when we were kids. Sadly some of us did just that, but thoes beautiful cars still live on.
I won my first trophy back in 1985. I had a AMC Javelin AMX that I had just finished fixing up. My brother and I left before the trophies were handed out. We thought we would not win. The next day I got a phone call saying I had won a trophy. Fortunatly I have won a few more over the years. I still remember where I won my very first one. Congrats. Hopefully it is the first of many.
