We took our 2016 Beetle Dune Hatchback to the VWs in the Valley Car Show in Maggie Valley last weekend. Out first time attending with the air-cooled & water-cooled crowds. And wouldn't you know, we took home the prize (trophy & $50 cash) for Club Choice - Water Cooled. Pretty interesting trophy given out.

Well done! Looked an interesting venue to have a look around.

One of my "dream" cars would be a BAJA Beetle. Something about that agricultural look, with the big flared arches, oversized rear wheels, plus obviously that distinctive exposed engine, protruding out of the rear bodywork!

 

Here is one of the better Baja Beetles that was at this show. It was spectacular up close!

 

WOW! That car is a work of art. Simply stunning. Obviously a show queen, not even a weekend driver. Thanks for the photos.
