Guys as seen on some of my posts i am making some drastic changes chasing after a dream and my beloved crossfire has to go. I had listed on ebay couple weeks ago to see what type of offers i would get and see i wanted to sell it retail or wholesale at the auction. The car will be running through the auction next week unless a buyer is serious and sends a deposit.

I will not go in detail about the car as i did a real good job of listing it on ebay. I have an offer for $15,500 at the auction but i would rather sell to a forum member of someone new on the board who is looking for a crossfire.


I have done some modding to the car but nothing extreme. The sound system is back to stock and all mods for audio is gone. i have the 3m Clear Bra with 5 yr warranty on the hood, fender, bumper and fog light. The only issue i have with the car is i have sent of the stock lights to get retrofitted with a high end HID SETUP that the FREAKING CAR should have come with from chrysler. the car will be sold with replacement headlights that are used from a 2005 crossfire and one has a fogging issue. I can sell you the HID RETROFIT but it will be additional.

I have 8500 miles on the car and always keep it mainted with mobil 1 0w40 and FLEECE filters. I have installed the stock K&N drop in to help with slight bit better throttle response a 1 mpg bump in fuel.

Also i have my brother crossfire which is 100% stock and is AVAILABLE ALSO FOR THE $15,250 with 8700 miles. I am not trying to make money of this deal and if you check MANHEIM values you will see this is inline with what we are expected to get if we run it through the auciton. I would rather sell it for the same price or less to a individual versus letting a stealership bend you over and RAPE you once they buy my car and flip it to you.

i want to thank all the members and guest of the board and it was a great community and i plan to stay active with or without a crossfire. I guess now it is time for me to buy a die cast model as a replacement lol.

look out my next car in the future will be some sort of MERCEDES i really like the CLS 55 AMG lol.

Also, whats the Color, tranny, ect. of your brothers car? I presume you guys are driving twins, but it doesn't say.

2008 brand new Chrysler crossfire limited 6spd black on black.

mine has strong tint and clear bra along with K&N

MY bro left it with stock tint


stock tint: 20% all around no brow on the windshield.


My car: 20% front window, 10% in the corner and 5% in the rear, I have a brow on the windshield.

both cars have less than 9,000 miles My car has like 300 miles less than him. Keep in mind we are currently driving the cars but they will be sold with less than 9,000 miles each.

I hate to sell to stealer ship but if i am in a time crunch and their is no buyers my last ditch effort is carmax but i rather run it through a auction. I would love for a end user to get a real nice deal and i have all sort of little accessories i can throw in.

I have no idea on the the retrofit but i am guessing between 800-1200 for the complete hid setup with ballast, bulbs, and complete retrofit. Keep in mind i have a 3m clear bra installed on the head lights so you would be protected from chips and rocks. I have not even had the projectors done yet at least another month or two. Never installed or used lol that kinda bites.


Retrofit consist of

low beam: ACURA TL BI-XENON HI.LOW PROJECTOR.

HIGH BEAM: LEXUS RX330 AFS PROJECTOR.

all projectors have been highly modded with ultra clear ZKW and TSX lenses along with custom shields cut for each on. CCFL halo's were used 6000k for a cool white color. no expense was spared as i wanted to use this for a long long time but as we know. WHEN LIFE THROWS YOU LEMONS ..........
