How much did it cost you to get it painted Yellow? Is that the Chrysler yellow that was an option on non-srt models, or a different shade of yellow?

Oh gotcha, cause the title in your OP says that is an SRT6, which it isn't as per the picture. So I was just curious.

Most SRT6's come with a fixed wing, SRT style wheels and a different front bumper.
You seem to have the only one that looks like an NA Limited Model.

A sleeper perhaps?

Franc - Obviously I don't even know what kind of Crossfire I own! Duh - and yes, I'm blonde! OK. . . . what is an "NA Limitied Model". I've gone down the entire accessories list off chrysler.com and the ONLY thing mine doesn't seem to have is a Nav system and the SRT-6 embroidered into the seats. However if I look up my car by VIN number, it says it is an SRT-6. Hmmmm?

If it was a factory Yellow SRT you wouldn't be selling it.
At least not at that price!

How do you drive and then try to sell something when you don't even know what you have? Picture shows it all....especially on this site where nothing goes un-noticed...try again

I bought it used in 2007 in Port Richey so I must say, I don't know if it was painted or not but there are always little ways to know and I've never ever seen any signs that this car was ever painted. So what's the deal with yellow - I know they are hard to come by. But even Edmunds or Kelly don't seem to plus-up the value based on the yellow color. And $16,500 is blue-book. What gives?

You can post your vin# here to have people check. You are getting a hard time because a yellow SRT6 doesn't exist. I would guess that you are probably seeing that the vehicle is a V-6 but it is not an SRT6. Huge difference in horsepower. I drive the exact vehicle you drive and neither one of us has the bigger motor (sadly). This is also a forum of XF fanatics .... the fact that someone doesn't know every nuance of the XF they are selling can be a little mind boggling to us. No one here meant any insult. You have a lovely car in the best color (if I do say so myself). You might want to look at the vehicle value again on KBB if you were pricing an SRT6. The reason it didn't give you an added value for the yellow is of course because an SRT6 wasn't available in that color. I looked up KBB private party good condition (no one's car is really in excellent condition w/ 25k on it) & the value in Winter Park, FL was $14565. Of course your car is actually worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Good Luck

If you are cute and single I'd be more than happy to give you a ride in my SRT...you will see a difference.

I would definitely suggest posting your VIN, we would be more than happy to help you clear things up.

Kim may not know a crank pully from a fuel pump but she does know the value of a car. She does it for a living. And she owns one just like what you are hawking here. Trust her numbers.

We, here on the Forum, all do

She is right. You entered the citidel of Crossie owners and we gave you a little razz.
Now, What you have is a Chrysler Crossfire "Limited" convertible. And excellent choice.
It is yellow which seems to make it sell for a little more because some people are willing to pay more for it. KBB does not pay much attenton to color.

Frankly for the miles your asking price isn't too far off from what you could get. Assuming you can convince the buyer that you know of what you are speaking when you advertise the car.

Something as obvious as not knowing about the SRT6 variant will send most prospective buyers away.

I mean if you over exaggerated it's engine, 330 HP verses 215, what else about the car ain't so?

So calm down and we'll help ya'
But nobody here will really buy your yellow SRT with NA wheels and a pop up spoiler.

franc
BTW
NA means Normally Aspirated. SRT's are Super Charged hand built AMG engines.
Here's a useful point. Nothing on your Chrysler Crossie is made in America. It is 100% Diamler Benz built in Germany by Karman.

We don't know where you bought it but, most Chrysler salesmen had no idea what they were selling.
Chrysler people have little knowledge of the car. You will find out much more asking questions here.

Perhaps I should introduce you to the mechanic working on my car. He thinks my lack of compression is because the fuel pump is faulty.

No, I'm not kidding.
