Very interesting… Just the upgrade I’ve been looking for.
I had just called the dealer about this car yesterday. It’s listed on cars.com for $21995. He said the lowest price he could take was $20,150.
I have been looking for ways to get to Cedar Falls IA. No easy, cheap way to fly there from here and it would be about a 10 hour drive.
Would anyone on the forum that has bought a car on e-bay please pm me about your experience. I am a little paranoid about buying a car unseen. Specifically, what do you do if the car sucks???.
Also, does anyone have an opinion of the vehicle history report? I am more familiar with CARFAX (even though I have read that CARFAX is less than reliable).

I have purchased 8 cars on EBay. Including two Crossfires.

Essentially, with the exception of the down payment, you can usually walk away if the car is not what the seller had claimed. In the event it is a dealer, they generally are going to keep their reputation with EBay up so, usually, they will work with you.

That said, buying a car on EBay is as risky as buying one anywhere. Do your due diligence. Run a Carfax.

If the dealer wants a deposit, is it refundable? If not be wary unless it is like really small. Couple hundred Bucks should secure any deal.

I found every EBay purchase to be an adventure. And if the car runs, for what a Crossie sells for these days, how could you go wrong.

There are great deals, there are better deals and there are awesome deals. Unless you are willing to take risks, leave the Awesome ones alone.

Have purchased MANY cars off of Ebay and only walked away from one.
Both of my SRTs are Ebay cars. Couldn't be happier with either.
Flew out and drove back both.

Looking for two more!

No,that's often done when they reseve the right to sell off the lot. There was one bid but they closed the aution early. May have been the same guy.

When I bought mine, the same thing happened. I bid an agreed to price and they accepted, closed the auction.

Look, I was horse trading on this one myself. Wouldn't go the dollars they wanted. Somebody must have.

I just wonder if anybody here got it. RBlythe332 was interested.
