It's mid July. When can I expect to see you???
BTW have replaced the performance valve body with a stock valve body. Back to "normal".

Hello again everyone, I want to start by apologizing to all those people who replied to my WTB post and I haven't responded back in the past few months, all of a sudden after our vacation to CA life got supper busy...funny how all of a sudden projects you started all come together and need to get done!

A bathroom remodel that I started this spring that I've been waiting for a backordered vanity and tile to come in...found this out after I had the bathroom completly gutted and we were down to one bathroom, supper annoying!! It's now finished and looking amazing! I also found a winter car (Subaru AWD for Minnesota winters! ) on craigslist that was in super good shape but needed a motor rebuild, so I've been working on that also. My wife has been looking for a new job as well and we all know how slow and stressful a process that can be in this economy.

I've decided to wait till next spring to decide on what to do about a summer car...I still like the crossfire's a lot but I've also had my eye on a lotus Elise, but there a lot more money! Well I've got all winter to ponder the possibilities...

Thanks again to everyone for all the info and leads to cars for sale. I'll be keeping an eye on the stuff for sale on here over the winter and if anyone is possably thinking about selling there car in the spring send me a PM and I'll stay in contact.

Thanks everyone,

Cheers Aaron M.

Not to make the for sale section a discussion page...but in your oppinion Lotus F1 since you have owned and driven both what are some pros and cons of each? Also how do the driving styles differ? obviousley the Crossfire is more everyday "liveable", but the car I end up getting will be only a weekend and sunny day car so liveability is not so much a concern.

Thanks

The Lotus will make your Crossfire feel like a fat lame duck (feel and handling). The Crossfire as nice as it is, is invisible to the attention you will get with the Lotus. The Lotus is delicate and you have to be mindful of where you park (never Parallel). I can park the SRT6 anywhere.

They really are so different. I love my SRT6 for daily cruising and appreciate it's comfort, drivability and all out acceleration. Hard to beat the SRT6 for the money. It's a nice blend of sport luxury.

The Lotus is a hyper focused precision instrument. It is audacious in it's look. It's not very useful. It's hard to get in and out. It garners too much attention. Always have to leave time for questions wherever you go. Kids will scream when you drive by. People will point and take pictures. However....

It is simply the most fun you will ever have driving a car unless you have money to buy big $$$ exotics. Every time you drive it you will take the long way home. You will drive it with no destination in mind. At 1900lbs everything will feel like a truck compared to this Go-Kart. Every time you get in you will have a stupid smile ear to ear. It feels illegal to drive it on the street. You will miss it when the weather is nice and your not home.

You can pry my SRT6 out of my hands but never my Lotus

Thanks Lotus F1 for your take on both cars! All the reasearch I have done about the lotus leads me to belive that once you have driven one theres nothing like it, yes it only has 4Cyl so it may not put you back in your seat like a big V8, but it has a true driving experience like no other car...the only problem is there double the price of a SRT and even at $32K your still picking from ones that may have questonalbe history's, as they are very delacate!

Keep in mind HP, V8 or whatever really means nothing. Power to weight ratio is all you really need to look at. Remeber 1900lbs! Besides their are plent of proven Forced Induction options if you want to go as fast as a Lambo or Ferrari. Mine is over 300hp

I have seen many go for 26K-28K. A lot of people play with it for a few years and realize it's compromises are to great. Especially if it was their daily driver. There are definitely some deals out there. I assume you have also checked the Lotus site Lotustalk.com

I understand the power to weight concept fully...the #'s dont lie they can be fast as hell, I guess I just meant the seat of your pants feeling of 500+lb-ft of torque, there is a differance...not in actual speed just in feeling. Anyways, way off topic...I like both vehicals alot but at this point in my life I can only pick one If you still want to sell your SRT in the spring I may be interested...then you can take me for a ride in your Lotus

Cheers
