Rare Find... Aero Blue SRT6 with only 500 mile - For Sale on ebay
What would you do with a car like this? Would you feel like crap running the odeometer up? Or do you just sit on it hoping to make a profit? I don't think anyone profit motivated would pay this much for the car if its current value is around $18K. If I was a specultive buyer, I would be looking for a nice SRT roadster to sit on. Much lower production numbers and being a vert will ensure it will always be worth more than a coupe. The roadsters also seem to be kept stock and not raced as much. If the SRT's become classics finding an original Coupe might be hard to find.
~ i contacted the owner... bummed to hear it has the front bracket installed on the bumper.
There is always the person willing to pay that bit more without quibbling to have what he wants when others are saying the price is too high. That extra money is nothing to him, he can afford it so he pays. He gets the goods and you do not.
Seems fair to me.
Money is only a worry when you do not have enough to stay in the game.

Looks like someone made the opening bid of $21K....curious to see what this sells for now that the "buy it now" is gone.

That's if your bid on this one doesn't hold out for a few more days.
Ooops...I hadn't checked it this morning. The bidder must have retracted his starting bid of $21,000 ......and I know you would never retract a bid on one of these.

What a waist. This seller either bought this car at action and is just trying to get his money back or bought it from a dealer and is losing money on the sale. Eitherway no garage for 5 years, paid for tags, insurance and taxes for a car that he did not enjoy! Unless he is the type who thinks that showing off what you own is enjoyment. What do these investors think, how many cars in the history of the automobile have increased in value after only 7 years?
Onehundred80 is correct, a sucker is born everyday. I watched a cruise participant pay $50 for the same Mexican marionette toy that I paid $8 for earlier that morning. The seller pointed him out to the other street dealers and they all went straight at him. I'll bet that I paid too much too!

This is our chance to drive them back up....if we were to quit telling all that the prices are to high or heck...just stop selling so low. Thats the only way to get the value back up some. It needs to be done before a 500 mile car is worth only 13 or 14k and that seems to be the way we are headed. Its not good.

This car we love is a gem tous and worth the aggravation of owning one.
Same as many like an XJS Jag.
I for one am glad they are priced where I can afford to own one or two or three or four. Beecause at full list I, like 99.9% of the world, would not be owning even one.
Since I plan to drive it till the wheels fall off,it truyl matters not a twit what they will sell for when my fasination with the Crossie is exhausted. If I owned a similar high end Benz, I would worry about depreciation and lose all that driving pleasure. As it is I can be a spend thift with the car's market value and enjoy it's intrinsic worth.
I didn't buy my Crossfire to sell it but,,,,,to drive it.
Relisted and reduced to $20K, three more reduced price auctions and it will be in range.

Does anyone else find it strange that for a 1 owner car, the title has been corrected 3 times per the Autocheck report on eBay? just courious.
