Default I'm considering selling my Crossfire

I would miss this car a whole lot if I do. It's just a matter of practicality on how many toys I want, and how much room I have to store them.

I've only been using mine during Spring, Summer , and early Fall. I could get away with this because my daughters were away at school, and used their cars in the winter. They are both out of schools now, and need their cars. So, my choice is to use mine year round, or buy a car I can use year round as my daily driver.

I also just bought a 56 VW Bug, and am looking for my 65 Comet. Dang, what to do.

If I sell it, I'd like to get $15,500. It only has ~45K miles, still under warranty, and extremely well cared for; no dings or scratches, and lots of nice mods. Just look at my signature. Also, spare OEM parts such as exhaust, fuel injectors, and TB. The car needs nothing...

If I had FP money, I'd buy a SL600 as a beater and keep the Crossie.

That's funny Valk. Nope, I love my Crossfire, and want to keep it. I'm just concerning selling it because it should be a DD, and it's not. I don't know that I want to put it through the salty roads in the winter. My VWs are just toys.

Just make a 3 season DD and park it once the snow comes! And then you drive a really crappy winter car that you enjoy beating on

Boy I could kick myself in the butt, just bought a 2004 coupe last month for pretty close to your price. I've always admired your xcrossfire (very sharp and well kept).

I am in the process of buying a daily right now myself, don't do it, FP, you will regret it for sure.

Let me know if you see any nice 2008+ A4s with a 6 speed, 2.0T, quattro, and metallic gray paint up there

I agree. Buy a beater for the winter. I'm in the same situation. I use my sons car while he's away in college (heck, I'm using it alot now too since he isn't working). If and when he takes his car, I'm buying a beater to get back and forth to work. I'm keeping my XFire..............

FP, DON"T DO IT!!! You've never even had your car on the Dragon yet.
Winter storage isn't a problem, (you got that covered). You haven't found that illusive 65 Comet yet, right? We all know ya don't need the $$.
Here's your DD...it's even your color.
