Mechanic Special! 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Coupe 6-Speed - $2,000 (Airbag Deployed)
I have a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Coupe. I was the third owner and my father was the second. It was well maintained for the life of the car and ran absolutely beautiful... A few days ago I was in an accident which involved losing control and hitting the curb. I did not hit any poles, vehicles, etc; just the curb. While hitting the curb, the passenger air bag deployed (only the passenger side) which broke the windshield and dash board. Do to the airbag deployment, my insurance company totaled the car. The only other damages to my Crossie is the driver side front suspension/wheel and the driver side rear tire. The control arm on the front broke as well as the brake rotor and rim/tire. The rear rim has two notches out of it but the tire still appears to be fine. (New driver side 'knuckle' has been put on, so it can roll onto a flat bed if needed.)
Now, The engine, transmission, heated seats, spoiler, fenders, etc. are all fine and in beautiful condition. My insurance company has given me the option of buying the car back for $2,000 but I would not have a use for spare parts, and I do not currently have access to a shop in order to part it out and sell.
So, here I am bringing this to you the proud Crossfire owners. I have learned a lot from you all and have spent countless hours on the forum reading all of your posts and thriving off of your conversations. I respect and appreciate all of you and for that I am offering up my car at the cost of the buy back from the insurance company. I have pictures I can post and you are more than welcome to come see the car if you so choose.
I am currently living in Fargo, ND which is where the car is located. There are 78,000 miles on the odometer, 20,000 of which were highway miles I put on last year for work travels.
If you have anymore questions, feel free to reply to the post of email me directly @ jon.me@me.com
This is a very sad day, and I am still in mourning over my loss. Hopefully my loss can be somebody's gain.

Oh sorry it is in the bottom of your post Black ......the best color of course.......what needs to be done to make arrange ments.....and the driver air bag didn't deploy? Also did the title get marked by the DMV as parts only per the ins company or is it a clean title you would get back from the ins company?
I could easily drop the sl55 motor in it and have a fun car....(not that mine isn't) but a new project might in the works for this winter.......
I have the title clean and clear. What it needs are new rims (driver side), front wheel, new windshield, suspension work front and rear. I haven't had the opportunity to get underneath for exact parts. Shoot me an email at jon.me@me.com to work out the details.
Thanks
Thanks
