Wanted SRT Roadster SE US with less then 60K
CAR HAS BEEN FOUND
THANK YOU CROSSFIRE FORUM
If you have a car to sell at a decent price I may be a buyer. Color is not as important as condition, miles, verifiable maintenance and that it is from a nonsmoking owner.
Modified not a plus but does not eliminate it.
Only convertible and only SRT considered.
That should be SRT- 6 in the SOUTHEASTERN UNITED STATES not SRT SE US and if there is a preference or it is more correct ROADSTER instead of CONVERTIBLE.
I apologize for the confusion I caused.
Thanks for reading my ad.

Not mine ... but I did go check it out yesterday and it is legit. Great condition, no smells and if I had the coin I would trade my SRT in on it. You would have to ship it (not a deal breaker in the 21st century though) or make a weekend trip... Good luck on your search bro!

I have long thought the Crossfire is what the AMX would have been had were it still in production. Mine was a 1970 with leather, close ratio stick, factory ram air and factory side pipes. My wife's was a 1968 with go pack and more luxurious options.
SE was meant to be SE USA. I will see if I can edit to prevent confusion.

amx1397= the amx, 1 = the first amx ever produced,,,397 is the total amx's i have owned.
along with 3 scramblers,,3 Rebel machines,, 460 javelins, 5 v8 gremlins., and I have enough parts in my garage to build 4 AMX's,,,,, I have five spare engines also, I have always said if they had named it amx instead of crossfire they would have sold a lot more than they did. ,,,
maybe you will like this, 70 amx/crossfire,,,,,https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ghlight=70+amx

Thanks. That was a great electronic walk down memory lane. It was my recollection my 360 with the ram air had just under 300 HP and the 390 something like 330.
I thought I was the only person to find the Crossfire the evolution of the AMX. I feel some confirmation. Those statistics reminded me of my surprise when I compared my Jensen Interceptor's dimensions to the Pacer and how similar they were.

If there are no sellers of SRT-6 Roasters in the South Eastern US I will look further up north and to the middle states.
If anyone could suggest other Crossfire sites with classified sections I would appreciate it.
I am pretty well informed on none specific sites and search engines. Both my present vehicles were long distance internet finds. And, this search began with the internet sale of my last TVR.
Most appreciate would be the right car but any help would be also.
Given there seems to be snaking on this site please respond with PM only.
Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion. That is one of the search engines I use. I will typically do nationwide searches. They do not, however, pick up ads placed on sites such as this.
I would rather buy from an enthusiast who has cared for the car for years than a dealer or car jockey that picked up a dealer reject then sprays some shiny stuff with a strong perfumery stink on it and does not know if the owner's manual is in the glove box or not.
My automotive interests are broad and I am sorta a serial collector with room for only a few. I buy to keep and am very fussy.

You somehow missed this cherry black roadster with only 12K miles on it, for $16.5K

In a manner of speaking, yes. I could locate no one to to respond that had actually seen the car and I have barely heard of Nebraska much less want to make the convoluted arrangements to get out there and see the car without some objective evaluation of it.
But, it seems there is a deal on it with a strong back up and I am deservedly lost in the dust.
Thanks for you comments. Have you actually seen this car?
Thank you Crossfire Forum, the snake that got fed and the members that helped educate and locate.
I have a beauty and intend a long term relationship.
