Default crossfire srt for sale

I love this car but it has trouble starting on occasion. Also it was rear-ended 7 years ago with no lasting effects. The exhaust was completely replaced. Only 73,000 miles asking $8500.

Can you send pictures? Any other details on maintenance? What are the starting issues. PM me if you can. I'd like more info.

Also, what color? Any mods?

The car has had regular maintenance and a throttle body replaced. The rear ender 7 years ago caused the exhaust to crumple and it was repaired with original parts- took forever because they had to come from Germany. It is Sapphire Silver.

The starting issue is that randomly when you start it, it runs very rough and the RPM varies b/w 800 to 1400 with little throttle response. If you turn it off and wait a few minutes, it starts right up and off you go. I have never been "stuck" with it.

I will try to upload pictures

Great. Thanks. I look forward to seeing the pictures.

Just a couple other quick questions.
How long has the starting issues been occurring? Any codes / engine light?
Was the car salvaged titled or regular titled? I imagine if it was regular title given it was new / newer at the time of the accident.
Lastly for now, when was the last service? Estimate on condition of brakes and tires?
has the intercooler pump ever been replace?

Thanks in advance.

the issue started about 1.5 years ago. I am the sole owner- picked him out myself brand new with I think 17 miles on it. Garaged his entire life, even at work and never driven in the snow or ice.
That's the problem- it never throws a code- I've had it in for this problem and no one knows (and if the computer can't tell them, mechanics don't know anymore).
It is due for an oil change now- I don't want to pay for that if he is being sold. The rear tires are showing some wear, but are still OK. Brakes passed inspection for PA in August. It does need a new pressure sensor in one of the tires at the next tire change (the battery must be out- same thing happened to my Yukon.) That light has been on for 2 years and I have checked the pressures periodically, they are fine.

Thanks for the update. I have a few ideas of what could be causing the hard starting. Can share with you if you want but without looking, testing and fixing, no way to say for sure.

I'll look at the pics and check in later.

is the intercooler pump potentially part of the problem or is that a problem with this car in general?

I don't think the IC pump is your issue. Do you have issues with severe lag on acceleration? Have you ever changed it?

Your symptoms could relate to a number of issues. The throttle, vacum, the ECU, fuel pump, etc. Have to experience them and the inspect and find via process of elimination.

there is no lag with accel when the car is working. When the issue is present it won't go beyond 1400rpm and it barely moves forward. Yesterday it did it 4 times and it also had a new symptom: it died and when I went to restart I turned the key 4 times and got nothing, nadda, not even a click. the 5th time I turned the key it started. The only part that has ever been replaced is the throttle body.

Did you upgrade the throttle body to a larger unit or just replace it with the orignial size? The variation in rpm certainly could be affected by the throttle body (a leak), malfunction etc. However the starting issue is likey something else. More likely the ECU which has the propensity for the solder points to crack and cause the no start issue.
