Selling my 2004 Crossfire, auto with 97k miles. I purchased it in 2009 with around 35k miles and have put the remaining miles on it. This place has been a great source of info when working on the car, and I’m hoping to sell it to someone on here instead of having it end up on a used lot somewhere. It’s been a great daily driver and has spent its time with me only in Central/Eastern Florida.
Mechanically no issues. Shifts smoothly, idles proper, etc. Seeing that it’s getting near the 100k mark, it does need to have its fluids and filters changed. TPMS is going off, I was told by my mechanic that it was due to dead batteries in them.
Interior, I’ve kept it as clean as I can. Leather is still good, carpet is clean, and passenger seat has barely been used in its life. Driver side bolster does have light wear, the coin holder is non-functioning, and the infamous cup holder is also kaput. I’m including one of the storage bins produced by Chrysler to replace the cup holder. Other items of note are a sagging headliner and interior roof panels (failing glue issue), and the radio volume control is being finicky.
Paint issues are detailed in the photos. Clear coat failure on the rear bumper, which is now moving to the upper quarter panels, wing, and roof. Front bumper has plenty of rock chips thanks to Florida’s constant road construction. Front window trim moldings were repaired due to failing glue, so the clips were reattached and then everything painted black instead of the bright silver (these also have clear coat failure forming). Wheels also have curb rash.
Other notable work done:
Replaced crankshaft position sensor, sensor relay, AC head unit, blower motor relay, seat relay, and alarm.
Rotors and brake pads replaced with Stop-Tech (drilled front / slotted rear) and Posi-Quiet semi metallic pads.
Sticky ignition was also fixed.
Current tires are Nitto Motivo rears, Falkens in front, both with good tread left.
Asking $3,500
