2004 Crossfire Black - 46k miles - Manual
Last edited by timeslinky; Aug 15, 2019 at 12:34 PM.
I did, it’s about 5 coats of Chrysler black and 3 coats of clear all waxed and buffed and wet sanded each layer. It worked really well and it made such a difference in the appearance of the size of the windshield.
I haven’t sold it yet but I have a couple people interested. It’s a little hard to find interested people this late in the year. But I’m selling it for 8,500 negotiable.
I have a 2007 base with many upgrades of the limited model. I am considering selling because to service the cf has gotten too difficult and stressful. I'm in the Chicago area. Any suggestions since you are a bit ahead of me in the selling process? Thanks!
My suggestion is to try to wait till spring to sell it. You’ll get the most money out of it. Never even think about trading it in or selling to a dealer. And you just REALLY have to find the right person. Crossfires aren’t an easy sell. They are easier in the spring though I bet. Oh and I’ve found that eBay is a pretty good place to sell it or if you have a local app like letgo. I have got most of the interested people from that. I didn’t get ANYONE from Craigslist the time it was up.
I recently discovered Letgo, listed some cheap furniture, not one call, yet Craigslist (in MI btw) got a call the same day listed and sold the furniture. I have reviewed cf prices for sale and it ain't pretty. I realize a dealer may offer a couple thousand. I have a base with lots of upgrades of the Limited but for resale that may not be a consideration. I have approx 71,000 miles. I've owned the cf for 6 years had some mechanical issues but addressed them accordingly but recently it has become problematic. I prefer less stress as I age let alone the aging cf. Where in MI are u located?
