I'm with you, my weekend fun car is a 2020 Lotus Evora GT, with a 6 speed manual transmission of course.

Extremely sorry to learn of your wife's passing earlier this year. Her car is absolutely gorgeous and indicates her love for it as the original owner. If it were the 5-speed Autostick, I'd ****** it up in a heartbeat. Just not sure I want to get back to a manual after all these years.

Thank you, oddly enough it appears people wanting to drive a stick are a dying breed. I was in the market for a high performance sports car with a manual transmission and was surprised to find my choices were Porsche or Lotus. I bought the Lotus.

I typically stop at the local Lotus dealer here in Greenville on a Sunday afternoon & look over the cars he has on his lot. The Evora GT is a beautiful example of an exotic car w/o all the added hype. I'd take the Lotus over the Porsche any day. Porsches are seen everywhere. But a Lotus Evora GT is seldom seen - my kind of car!

Lotus cars today are a step above everything. I saw a bunch at our car event sat. They are small, low, but look like loads of fun. Porsches were everywhere, a dime a dozen.
