dont feel like the lonesome stranger! mine is a slk32 built in 2002 and i dont have a plate. they didnt start signing the motors until model year 2003

 

Can a person possibly get a hold of an original signed Plaque from AMG?
It wouldn't matter if it was an SRT one, but as long as it was an AMG...

To my knowledge, the only way to get the actual AMG engine plate is affixed to the engine. It is not an accessory part.

 

I was told you could get one if you had a vin #

So, all we need to do is round up a couple very nice AMG owners willing to help for a few extra bucks

Karl - How hard is it to get the emblem off once it is on? Just curious. Thx.

 

Wedge a tool under the edge and peel. The badge may not be reusable if left on for a while and there will be a little glue residue that can be wiped off. It will not just fall off.
