New Throttle Boost Sprint Booster
Re: New Throttle Boost Sprint Booster
My travel schedule is brutal right now. Spending about 80% of my time on the road. The new SB can be drop shipped so that is why I have been able to get them out quickly. Unfortunately, my unit will be sitting in its box for a while until I can catch my breath.
Hopefully the new owners will post their impressions.
DINASRT, I appreciate all your well thought comments. Don't feel like your comments aren't worth as much as others. This is very much a forum of peers.
got to check emailzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzz
Hopefully the new owners will post their impressions.

Re: New Throttle Boost Sprint Booster
Because I am always traveling, I'm afraid if I slow down, someone might think I have passed on and try to throw me in a box so they can get my SRT6. Not saying my daughter would do that, but she just told me that she and her husband have been discussing that they want to make sure I leave it to them if I do "slow down". LOL

(That is if I still have a job after 1 Oct.)

Just like most people, I've got bill money and play money. I'm no millionaire, but I work very hard and I'm well compensated. We'll leave it at that.
Re: New Throttle Boost Sprint Booster
I just Received the "Selectable" Sprint Booster. Thank you Karl for the fast, courteous and professional service.
I just completed the install by removing the panel. Everything went smoothly and fairly quick.
I previously had the sprint booster without the "Selectable" function and I no longer will be needing/using it. If anyone is interested in purchasing it PM me.
Thanks again!

Re: New Throttle Boost Sprint Booster
Well I need more data as it sounds like I need to place a purchase.
Steven; you said that it got an instant snap, and the original has a less dramatic reaction? I want to be as clear as I can be in that I will buy one on your declaration that you see a significant improvement. Could you clarify that one of the other two positions matches the older SB?
More clearly, is the old SB like the middle or lowest "NEW" SB response?? Iam really interested in seeing how the new one responds for the old one has a noticible lag that is terrible in autocrossing: I hit the throttle there is an audible snap as the pedal hits the firewall- I scream delay delay and then the engine goes to the wide open position. I mean it in a hard corner with the Yaw disabled, traction off by the dash switch and firewalled, there is a noticable hesitation that Iam sooo tired of ..............
So please kind Sir, recalibrate your positive comments to be as illustrative and detailed as you can be. Iam waiting to see the next post so I will know if Iam going to order the new one TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!
In no way am I going to hold you to your thoughts, or get ansy about your interpertation, Instead I am desperately interested in being talked into a better throttle (mouse) trap.
So please lay as much info on me as you have time to type and thanks. Woody

Re: New Throttle Boost Sprint Booster
The older version ( without the selectable feature) of the sprint booster has the same responsiveness of the selectable sprint booster in the "green light " mode. The difference is that the older version does not have the "red mode" that the newer selectable sprint booster has which gives it that instant snap acceleration and responsiveness.
