Default just got back from a 4 hours drive...

darn i can't remember when driving was this much fun... probably not since i was 17 years old and first drove hah ! i just took a ride up to bear mountain in upstate new york and had a blast... i got home and i did not want to get out of the car !

this is rather strange as the car has less power than my previous cars but something about sitting so close to the rear wheels that makes it feel so right when you take corners plus the smooth acceleration without spitting chunks of rubber out the front fenders like with my previous cars is rather nice... at this point, i don't think i'd want more power out of it... with the 6 speed it lets you make the best of the power it does have...

oh, i have to take a picture of the service light for you guy... it is 160 days overdue for its oil change. ah yes.... leftover '05 ! dealer said they where changing all fluids when i picked it up but i really don't trust they did or that they used the proper synthetic. i will be oil shopping in the morning... maybe then i will actually use the upper part of the power band. :P

Yeah, even though my SRT is quite a bit faster, the 6-speed 215 hp version was just as much fun...the six speed is just so well matched to the power band of the engine...sweet as can be...

I recall reading that many a critic didn't like the clunkiness of the manual. I loved that exact same clunkiness...the way each gear almost clicked into place was just sheer joy...

Isn't it just amazing how fun this car is to drive?? It seems I never get tired of it.

Enjoy the heck out of your car!

have you ever been to the other side of the Hudson to a town called Cold Spring?...

also... there are decent "driving" roads up there...

It's all fun till you look at the gas gauge after all that driving and $2.89 for 93 octane at Mobil is not helping.

I would get on and enjoy the ride, at 0.90 GBP per litre over here that's something like $5.93 a US gal, if my math is correct!

haha yup... gas prices aren't that bad yet since i am used to what its like in europe from talking to my brother who lives in poland... that and this thing gets much better gas mileage than my SRT-4 did... not better than my turbo RT tho... go figure...

i think its time for a oil change though, the engine sounds like a diesel at low RPM... i am pretty sure if the techs changed the oil as they said they where gonna before i got the car, they used 5w-30 like they do on most dodge motors... oh boy, i am not gonna let them do any warranty work on it i feel... never let anyone work on my cars and i don't think i ever will be able to let that go...
