might not be so pretty... but a great friend... especially when the car is in the 3 digit realm...

this mirror style... placed this way... eliminates ALL passenger side blind spots in any vehicle...

It takes a day or two to get used to one, but once you do, it is priceless. A quick glance gives you all you need to know...no more turning your head around. May not exactly be pretty, but oh-so-very-effective.

That's probably a good idea. Does it just self-stick on?

Do you think that style is better than the round convex mirror?
Great idea, especially for driving in NYC.

Definitely not pretty. If it helps you while backing in your Crossfire or while towing a camper it may provide some usefulness. However, when the Crossfire is moving forward there are no blind spots if the mirrors are adjusted properly. You should be getting full coverage to the rear from the three mirrors you got with the car. Some may find the links below useful to learn how to properly adjust their mirrors.

BTW MY MIRRORS ARE ADJUSTED LIKE THIS AS WELL...
WHEN THE CAR IS MOVING FORWARD AND ONE NEEDS TO CHANGE LANES QUICKLY... YOU WILL BE SURPRISED HOW MANY BLIND SPOTS ARISE!!!

DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT HERE IN NY IT SEEMS THAT EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER IS ALWAYS TRYING TO CATCH UP TO MY XF AND TRYING TO PASS ME ON THE RIGHT IS NORM AS I AM USUALLY IN THE FAR LEFT LANE...

UGLY... BUT ALIVE.

Actually, I put these on BOTH mirrors the first week I had the car. They have been a lifesaver on more than one occasion and I doubt if I'll ever not have them. Actually, I got used to these spot mirrors when I owned a full size Dodge van. You couldn't see anything out the center rear view mirror and had to live by the side view mirrors.

I have been using that exact blind spot mirror on each car I've owned over the past 10 or 20 years. In the past, I only used it on the driver's side mirror, but I bought one for each mirror on the XF within the first week I owned the car. The only difference is that I have them mounted all the way in on each mirror, not towards the outside as your picture shows. I think it looks less obtrusive there but performs exactly the same.
