You can't please everybody and the reality is that the Crossfire is a fairly inexpensive car. That doesn't mean that it's cheap. It's a toy that I enjoy and have a lot of fun with. It's rare, but not an exotic sports car. ...although some people think it is.
Minojo, "But I love my Crossfire and nothing can change that feeling since when I first saw it. Those that don't wash their crossfires will just drool how mine still looks good after 2 years of owning"!
Well said! I agree. Pride of ownership shows no matter how old you are.

I know what you mean Cyril Baldwin, this is a picture of my wife and I pulling up in the driveway at home, our friend who also owns a

Crossfire (his Crossfire doesn’t even come close to looking as nice as our Crossfire) took our picture.... we are just too proud of our new little

car….. after reading this thread, I just wanted to show everyone that not all Crossfire owners are image killers. HOOAH!! We love our

Crossfire and the neighbors just fall out their front doors looking at us every time we pull in or out of the park, we just laugh with each

other about it, it is soooo cool, even the local cops can't keep there eyes off us.... Yes seeing people riding around in Crossfires that I think

don't need to be Crossfire Owners does kinda take away from owning one, but we are happy, just look at us..... hooah

I don't think its the idea of someone driving a Crossfire playing loud music (even though we are Crossfire owners) than the general disrespect of folks playing their music loud in public places! I am PERSONALLY embarrassed when people ride around doing that. Especially when they look like me!!!

You know I get busy with grad school research and I come back to find discussions like this...

I am proud to say I am one of those people that brought the Xfire on the cheap. Mainly because graduate school research pays about the same as McDonalds. So to all the people that brought their xfire with their hard earn money, do what you want with it.

As another post stated there are plenty of bimmers and benz that are hop up and blowing loud music in wal-mart parking lot. No one devalues BMW or Benz, hell half the people on this forum probably would hide the fact the car is a chrysler and tell everyone it has a benz this or the other under the skin. So no, some idiot in wal-mart will not change my mind about my car.

As for the value of the car, its a $20k car, because that what the free market value this car at. So it is what it is and if you overpaid for the car that your bad. Its like my telecom stocks I bought with my ETS money, the price sunk like a rock after a few years sometimes things just loses value. In either case I love and care for my Xfire and my crappy telecom stocks maybe both will come back someday.

Anyways enough babbling, back to slave work that is grad school...

chung

edmunds & kellys bs value... i think the retail "versus" private party sale is a bunch of crap.

so called... certified or not... if the car still has the factory warranty... why should the price be any different.

because it re-enters a dealers door it is worth 3k more... yeah right.

sorry had to vent...

i'm 18 and own a crossfire roadster (so some of you must hate me...), you guys shouldn't be upset that kids drive expensive cars. That is just the way life is there are haves and have nots,
you guys should be old enough to relies this buy now.

it does suck that the crossfire has dropped 10k below msrp.

I find it very SAD that people can recieve PRIDE from a CAR.
No matter How Great it is.

You Should receive your Pride, from your Family, Occupation, Belief System, and LIFE!

Keep that in mind.

Well with your crossfire at 18 you may be a have, but when it comes to spelling, you are a have not.

Proof positive... money does not equal intelligence.

I certainly enjoy meeting someone that understands and appreciates a finely designed and manufactured automobile - no matter the age, sex, or whatever.

Good luck with your car, your future and your education!

So it sounds like you at least get SOME pride from your spelling...
