Hi
Hi, I'm a new member and this is my first post. I couldn't find the "Introduction Forum" where it tells you to make your first post. So I decided to make my first post in the coupe forum since I have a coupe. I'm 21 years old and just bought an '04 automatic, sapphire silver crossfire with red/black interior and just under 13,000 miles. I've had the car for about a week now and love it. I live in a small town and everytime I drive the car everyone stares at me. I've had people honk their horns, whistle and even pull up beside me to ask such questions as "Is that a Cadillac?"
I had been looking to get a new car for a while and just happened to stumble across the Crossfire while considering a Mustang. I could not believe that I had never seen this car before! I just had to have it, and now I do.
I think the only reason it doesn't have great sales is because Chrysler does not advertise it well enough, 90% of the people in my town (pop about 40,000+) don't even know what it is when they see it, but it turns everyone's heads and they are in awe of it.
Anyways, I can't wait to start customizing it to add better performance and a more personal unique look (as if it needs any). I'm not that experienced with that sort of thing and I'm sure parts are hard to come by for the XFire. So I look forward to finding everything I need here and hopefully helping the next new XFire owners.
I hope to have great discussions with all of you in the time to come. Also, I will take some pics soon and post them asap.
that is somewhat my story. i was considering an '05 mustang gt convertible and my dad kept bugging me about the crossfire. he really wanted me to get one. he had me take him to pick up his 300 at the dealership after they fixed some recall thing, and when i pulled in my baby was sitting there with the top down. i was like, maybe i will take it for a test drive. after the drive, well, you know how it goes... lol welcome to the forum!
