Thumbs up my new crossfire replacement car...

here is how the story goes...

my wife's X5 lease was up... she wants the revised 2007 X5 bmw (due out in fall)...obviously not available at this time. so...i decided to choose my replacement car early. my crossfire lease is up in less than 1.5 years. we did a 3 year lease on the 330. when i return my crossfire... she will then lease the new X5. i will retain the 330. keep in mind... i will be the sol driver of the 330 95% of the time. my wife works out of the house and very rarely drives.

mods: (or course)

~ debadging (today)
~ 50% window tint (fri)
~ 12 mm rear spacers (done)
~ full clear film 3M bra w/ lense protection (done)
~ rotex dust free pads (done)

Congrats, and enjoy the car. Our 330 Ci convertible has been a blast this summer. The BMW 6 cylinder is a marvel to drive.

Nice ride, Andrew! So, you've decided not to keep the XF when the lease is up, obviously. Will miss you on this forum!

Enjoy your new baby. Does this mean the XF will collect dust for the next 1.5 years? LOL

Nice choice. I'll bet the inside of your house is decorated with white & pale blue, with a few other pastel colors thrown in for good measure...

My new "car" is not quite so chic, I just ordered a little toter-home from haulmark to get the Crossfire back and forth from the track. Sleeps four, full kitchen, shower & 6' garage with compressor, generator & work bench.

I love the diversity of this forum...

georgian yellow...terracotta...sage green... make up our wall colors.

Let me get this straight. You currently have a 2006 BMW 330i... will purchase a 2007 BMW X5 in the fall... you'll still have 1 year lease left on the Crossfire... and your wife is a pottery barn decorator... you live in the land of no dirt and already have the rear wheel spacers installed on the 330i?
Andrew, you're a lucky man!
Where's the LAMBO??

And all I want is a pair of those clear marker lenses. LOL...

Andrew, give us a good review on what you think of the 330i. I test drove one on Thursday, smooth as silk, and is also more refined overall than e46 330.
