Default CTD-Germany Custom Front Grill Group Buy

I'll start a group buy thread for those who are interested to buy the front grills. The more people the better pricing we can get from www.CTD-Germany.com.

#1 here.

I assume a group buy indicates the grill would be at a reduced cost. What is the standard cost of these grilles? I might be a player for one but don't know what amount I'm committing to.

I didn't know that. When you go to there web site they have prices. They listed for the USA $199. I don't know if that's dollars or duetch marks. The site translates to english.

That is for an entirely different grille than the concept that we are discussing on this forum, which we proposed to CTD.

Got it. We are working on the mesh grille I assume. Depending on the manufacture and vehicle they range from $199 up to $700. It will be interesting to see there numbers.

Exactly. And the more customers we can deliver to CTD, the more reasonable the price should be for those who join in a group buy.

Without pics of the prototype grill on the car, I will not be interested in joining the group purchase.

I am in as long as I feel the part is worth the money.
And yes I understand quality costs money.
So put me in for one.
I bet if CTD could get parts into chrysler showrooms, chrysler would sell more cars...

Even if we don't have the pricing yet, it's good to have a list of interested buyers. In that way, once the CTD-Germany mesh grill becomes available then it'll be easy to send email or PM to forum members listed in this thread for a group buy. We can also negotiate a better price if we already have a group ready already and for www.CTD-Germany.com to have an estimation of it's initial production to prevent shortage.

At this time, you are not obligated to buy the grills since it has not been released yet. But the more interested party who'll join the Group Buy the better chances we have to negotiate a good price. This method is actually our negotiation technique to assure www.CTD-Germany.com that there is an initial number of buyers already and that there they won't have to worry about their initial inventory.

Those that will backed out can easily be replaced anyway but it's for all to know that a group buy may not happen all the time.

I'm in. Any idea of an estimated time frame? Are we talking a month or end of summer. Beyond the end of this year makes it less likely an option for me.
I hope this comes together as I would like to have the upper and lower grille for my car.
