The FHLT-P has one or the most comfortable seats of any motorcycle I have ever ridden. If you get a chance you should ask him to let you take it for a ride. The bike shop I worked at used to supply all the bikes for the Maryland and Virginia state police. It was great fun road testing them, although playing with the lights and siren was sort of frowned upon.
Andrew...now lets have the "true" story here ...a "friendly" visit from the OSP in your driveway...haha. I too read that in the paper and it is ironic they are going back to the bikes after such a long period of time. Do you know the story behind that? I too had a good friend in the OSP (in fact he wanted me to enlist) and he felt the job was dangerous enough in cars let alone bikes. There must be a need for them or they wouldn't be doing it. Are they going to be assigned statewide or just in Columbus? Good looking bikes anyway. Thanks for the photos...Kent
