Red face Crossfire VS Ford Lighting #2

So I told you all that I would do this again. I did, but a little differently. MY friend and I were coming home from the river yesterday on I35 North around San Marcos, TX. Anyway, we were going around 80 mph and we both kicked it. Well, more liked he kicked it and I tapped it. He went a lot faster off the start, but I was soon catching up. We got to around 115 mph until the traffic got too crowded. I assured him that if it was a top speed race, I would win. Maybe we should do a part #3?

But, when you take into account that I have a V6 and he has a Supercharged V8, I thought I did quite well. I will let you know when my next encounter comes along.

Oh, and I thought you would like to know this. He blew a tire the other day and I had to come rescue him. Ha, Ha, Ha

Tell him to come on up to Dallas. I've got an SRT waiting to meet him. If that can't do the trick, we'll break out the hot rod.
I haven't met too many trucks that can keep up with 440 cubic inches of twin turbocharged fuel injected Plymouth.

I agree with you there. The fun part of living in the DFW area is that we've got several drag strips, the Motorsports Ranch, and Texas Motor Speedway all within a close proximity.

HDDP- Yes you are right. What I am happy about is that I did pretty good for a V6 vs. a supercharged V8. If it were my intentions to beat him, then yes, this would be really stupid. You would have to agree that the Crossfire does very well with what it has.
