Question Viper or Hemi Engine

I have done a lot of thinking and was wondering if you could stuff a Dodge Viper engine or a Hemi engine into the Xfire. It would seem that it has the engine room to support. If so, I am sure you would have to upgrade almost everything else on the car. Wouldn't that be cool, a Viper engine in an Xfire! What do you all think?

that's what i'm talkin about.

i have seen crazier things done with transplants.

i'm not asking for 2 engines or anything. just 1 big one.

I think your effin insane, and I love it! Imagine 400+ hp in a crossfire, F yeah, lolzies.

Or why not just hook up a supercharger or twin turbo setup into the XF, and trash the Mercedes ECU for an aftermarket system. This is more realistic.

Well yes, I realized what the firepower was and what it has in store. I was just wondering how much if would cost comparatively.

Thumbs up Re: Viper or Hemi Engine

I think it would be cool just to see the 5.0L V8 M-B engine in there, hell the look pretty close when looking at the front of them. The 5.7L Hemi would be badass though!

The 5.7L Hemi would be cool, but it wouldn't be worth the hassle to swap it...power wise its about the same as the SRT-6 is stock.
Now a 5.0L supercharged M-B engine would be bada$$.

The 5.0L V8 M-B engine will fit, so there you have it, now do it and post a picture or two, or if you folks will foot the bill I'll do my Crossfire, and do better than posting pictures... I'll let you drive it once down the 1/4 mile... I'll be standing by for those Pay Pals... hooah

Startech offered a 6.1 liter V-8 in the Crossfire. It was called the starfire and it was based on a 5.0 liter MB V-8. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same engine as the SRT-8. 425 hp and about 450 lb ft of torque too!
