Crossfire Dash Plaque
I have put together a supercharger plaque for the SRT6. A number of the forum members have ordered them.
I thought it might be nice to have a dash plaque for all Crossfire owners. It will be aluminum to match the interior and be roughly 2" X 3" in size with a self-adhesive backing. Here is a (very rough) thumbnail (click to enlarge) of the idea.

I gave tribute to the concept that started it all. Or, there could be separate coupe and roadster versions. Your ideas?
There is also a fine print line that says "Handcrafted and Assembled by". Perhaps this should simply be "Crafted and Assembled by", what do you think?
Last, just above this space, each plaque could be personalized with your name in script. This would add about $10 to the base cost of about $20.
Let me know what you think...

Sweet! Is this design set in stone or is it open for modification? I'd like to see one that would lose the graphic of the car and maybe add the serial # and build date in it's place.
FWIW, I suggest keeping the graphic of the concept; adding an option for the roadster; losing the owner's name; but adding the VIN. Clever idea; thanks.
Very nice design. I will take one...for the Coupe' or the illustrated one, with the concept, if that is a go.
My .02...don't add a litany of other descriptions, except on an individual basis. The original design is clean, and very well done. Adding the owners name is a nice touch, if you plan to keep the car, but otherwise the original design says it all.

Here is another option that would help lower the cost...
Make the plaque the way it is and leave a space that the individual could have their SN engraved locally if they wanted...

Like the idea but think the size is a bit too large for mounting on the glovebox door or in the interior for constant display. If the idea is to mount inside a glovebox or be hidden away, size is no problem. I too would eliminate the concept car and go with VIN's or build #'s so they can remain on the car if we sell them to another. Count me in on whatever you choose to do. I've already put the Chrysler wings some of you might have seen on Ebay that were being sold by a gentleman from Greece. They're only about 2" from left to right and made of Sterling Silver. Mounted them on the lower right corner of the glove box door and they add a really nice touch. If he starts selling them again think about adding them to your cars.
I like this idea a lot. I'm definitely interested regardless of the final design, though I personally prefer the build number versus the graphic.
I like it just the way it is - with the graphic. Make it easy and leave the space blank as stated earlier. Then each person can engrave exactly what they want...name, vin/build, etc. Great idea and count me in!!
The greatest dash plaque EVER appeared on 1935 Auburn Cord Speedsters:

SRT SIX, great idea. All 2 seat AMX's came from the factory with an "I.D." plate on the dash.
My suggestion would be make it smaller, I think it would look more expensive and less obtrusive that way.
At 2" x 3", it would look dangerously close to being just another "dash plaque" that you can get at nearly every car show.

Dimensions of about 1.3" X 3.3" (or less) would make it a perfect fit for the area just above the A/C vents on the dash near both the passenger and driver side doors.
I expect to get the SRT engine plates shortly. I will take pics and post. After that we can see how much interest there is for the Crossfire plaques.
I would be interested in a dash plaque of whatever the final consensus of design would be. I do like your idea of the original concept in the background. It might make a better conversation piece.
