How fast have you been in your Crossfire?
Coming home early this morning on a deserted stretch of road, the wife and I had some fun in the crossfire. This car continues to impress me with power, handling, and how fun it is to drive.
We had the XF up to 135 several times. It's solid as a rock, smooth, quiet, and very manageable at high speeds. It had more room to push it further but it would have started to take longer. I find myself consistently doing 100+ on the highway without realizing it.

I'm still stuck on 102. I'm waiting for a chance to test it safely. I trust my Crossfire...but I don't trust Ohio roads. One never knows what's lurking in the lane up ahead.
I've been driving mine at 145 mph in a stretched road as I go to work everyday but after seeing COPS on tv with a speeder being handcuffed because of his speed...it scares the hell out of me now!
I peg it at the speed limiter almost every weekend at the track. Be careful, it turns into a "floater" at about 140. I'm thinking of a front and rear (ugly) aero wing just to keep the butt on the ground at those speeds, especially when you have someone passing you at 20+ faster...
PS: getting ready to go to the track right now. Sunday against a bunch of Spec. Miata's is much more fun than the "Honey Do's".

Awesome ride HDDP.
The road I was on was recently refinished and is beautifully smooth and flat. There's about a 20 miles stretch that is dead straight, so it's fun.
Probably won't ever do that again, but I had to do it once.

150 mph on a desolate stretch of highway 95 in Nevada just before the Oregon border. The car was stable but the paint and windshield took a beating from what ever was in the air. The windshield now has a few small pits and we also ended up with two paint chips.

Wouldn't it had been nice if the bumper could have been molded in body color, instead of black?
I've had it up to what the speedo said was 147 mph on route 8 in CT. Felt very solid at that speed but not as stable as my S2 Porsche at 150 mph.
I found that the XFIRE was very smooth at 130 mph but do it again NO its not worth the risk in many ways. The SRT XFIRE's must be pretty wild to drive maybe lucky for me I can't afford one.
Hi, I have managed 248 Km/h. Which translates to 154 mph, this is GPS readings, but tach on this car does not lie too much. So I can imagine, it has been around 260 Tach Km/h. However over 135-140 it does not pull too much anymore and you really need a long stretch of road to manage. This has been done with Roadster. I currently reside in Czech Republic. Drive Safe. How fast? Scary 3 digits is all I'm gonna say, and I don't think I'll be doing it again anytime soon. This car will move, but I want to stay in one piece and everyone around me too.

When I used to live in Columbus I would frequently go to Cincy and there is this bridge (I've deemed the 100+ bridge) about 20-30 miles outside of Cincy and I've gotten up to 140 on there. The ride was smooth and I didn't notice any "floating" but I did not keep it at that speed for long to tell any difference. Actually when going that fast it didn't even feel like it. I've said it once and I'll say it again, " I love my car"!
142 mph on my way to work at 5 am. I was shocked to see I was at 100 mph and said what the heck, no one else on the road but me and this silly M3 on my ***. Left him in the dust!
