Default Another one bites the dust!!

Cupholder that is - The little ******* sprung open somehow while i was in the grocery store today, got and well, let say, it was in about two pieces. Called my local stealership and asked about the storage bin - they said they do not know what I am talking about. I hope the other dealers in the area are more educated.

Go back to your dealer and have them look up TSB# 23-016-05 dated Mar 9, 2005... center console cup holder/storage bin exchange and then have them explain why they can't help you.

Good luck and keep us posted on yet another example of superior Chrysler 5-Star Service.

That "lovely popup cupholder" is about the biggest pain the butt ever invented! The friggin thing pops up on every little road bump, and if I smack my elbow on that thing one more time, I swear I'm gonna just rip it right out of the console! I've even considered a duct tape solution, no matter how bad it might look. I'll have to check in to that replacement box..but that means I'll have to deal with the morons at the dealership. Yikes...there's just no good choice here.

Hey mate I agree I love the cup holder. Mine does not pop up on its own and works great. I agree it takes away space when up but I would rather have one than not have any. Funny when I had a Boxster they had a dealer swap that gave you a cup holder since it can without one. Just the opposite of the Crossfire.

Funny stuff. I use my cupholder every day to get my Wawa coffee to work.
I think it is kind of neat just do NOT PUT styrofoam cups in it. Lol.

I just got one of these things weekend...works great, but might be uncomfortable for a passenger. Oh well... But for the lone commuter, this thing rocks. Its about $5 bucks at Wal-Mart and holds two drinks and some other stuff (cell phone - i-pod). I just have to put in some of that stuff you line shelves with.
