Question Warm cabin temperature

It is about mid 60's here in NJ in the evening. I was driving around with windows up and temperature dial set to all blue (coolest) position with fan speed at 3rd or 4th dot. I noticed that the air that blows from the vent is much warmer than actual outside air temperature. Has anyone noticed this?

i guess if the button for the ac is not pushed the you are just pulling air from the outside and it is going thru the hood and getting warmed by the motor. but if the ac button is not mashed it doesn't matter where the dials are, you are just going to pull outside air. i hope this is right it sounded better in my head.
