Door Locks
I am on one of my marathon travels for work and in Salt Lake City. We finished work late and around 11 PM finally got around to getting dinner. About the only thing open was Wendy's. I pull into the lot and notice the store is open til 2 AM.
I turn off the engine and go to remove the key when I notice a not too savory individual staggering around the lot watching and waiting for me to exit the Hertz Pontiac rental. Actually he starts heading toward the car...The issue is that the doors automatically unlock when you turn off the ignition and the car is in park...without hesitation I started the car put it in gear and pulled out. The doors locked automatically.
I really like the auto unlock feature on the Crossfire MUCH better. The doors don't auto unlock until you open the door!
BTW I was really hungry...gotta love the drive thru! LOL.

Yes, this car has some well thought features.
I don't like that the cigarette lighter does now work when the car is off.
Easy to rewire but not that important.
Also notice the horn only works when the key is on.
The up side is. These features can save you from a dead battery. Ex. stuck horn button, or phone charger or other electrical devise left plugged in.
The down side, can't charge a phone when key is off, or honk if you shut the car off.
I really like the heat recirculation feature.
Another cool one is how the gas door locks.
OOOHHH an lets not forget not having to hold the key in the crank position to start!
Then there is the ability to set the key fob to unlock 1 or both doors.
Can you tell I like my crossfire?

I guess it prevents those pesky "wrist cramps" we manual shift Crossfire owner keep complaining about.

Just bump the key to start and it will crank until motor starts.
