Anchoring the front license plate
My front license plate has four holes, plate holder has four holes, only two are anchored/go through to the car. My plate (less than 6 months old) is starting to kind of curl/pull up from the bottom and looks crummy. Has this happened to anyone else? Can you use some kind of hardware to hold the plate and plate holder together (bottom holes) without them being anchored to the car (just air behind there as you know).
I went and got some screws (same ones on the plate now) and secured the bottom holes on both the front and rear plates.
To me it looks more finished and I was seeing the 'pulling away' effect on my front plate too.
For me it is probably happening at the car wash.
You could go to your dealer and ask them if they can put screws in for you (courtesy) as they have TONS of those things laying around.

I dread the day when I will have to move to a state that requires a front license plate (I live in Florida now). Has anyone created a mounting bracket that would prevent the need to drill two holes in the front bumper?
