That would be easier to do by simply tapping into your existing ignition switch.

Don't waste your money on a kit with a module... just hunt for a cool looking button to put in place of the 'cigar lighter'.

Pretty neat idea! Personally, I wouldn't want it to glow all the time as it would be distracting at night.

It would be great only if you didn't have to use the key in the ignition. That is a tough mod. (Impossible)

the plus with the bmw comfort access feature/option... you don't have to put the key in the slot before pushing the start button... as long as the fob is on you or in the car. push & go.
