Interior Colors offered in '04 - '05?
I have a question that I haven't been able to figure out. Did DC offer a two tone Red/Slate interior as well as a two-tone Brick (orange)/Slate interior? I've seen some pictures of red interiors and some pictures of brick interiors and I was wondering if they were both offered or if the pictures just don't show the colors correctly.
I've got the Cedar and Dark Gray interior and know what your talking about. To the best of my knowledge there was only one combination using the orange/reddish color but in my experience it looks completely different depending on the directness of the sunlight. In indirect light or with the top up in my roadster the color looks orange or slightly brownish. Some have said it looks Terracotta in color like some tiles or bricks. The Carrera GT has a similar color. In direct sunlight however it looks much more red. Just see the pics in my gallery with the top down in direct bright sunlight. This changing color has caused me to avoid accessorizing using any of the gearshift ***** or other items with true red colors because the interior is more brownish/orange than red.
Thanks for the information... I figured it was probably just the changing sunlight as you mentioned because i've noticed that on the carrera gt. However, I've heard some people refer to their crossfire interior as "red/slate" so I wasn't sure. Thanks for clarifying. BTW- The cedar interior looks awesome.
The 04's had 3 interior color options and there was no extra charge for two-tone.
- Dark slate gray
- Two tone: cedar/dark slate gray
- Two tone: medium slate gray/dark slate gray
I'm pretty sure that with a black exterior, you could get any of the 3 interiors.

Than in '05 they added the Vanilla/Dk. Slate Gray which unfortunately was never offered in any coupe only the ltd. roadster. That would have been awesome in the Black Ltd. coupe.

on cars.com its usually referred to as red and sometimes red/slate.
and yea I love that match...if I didn't buy the SRT I would definitely buy the XF with that combination.
I actually purchased a set of Vanilla/Slate seats to install in my coupe about 3 weeks ago. However, when the seats arrived, they weren't in very good condition (they were supposed to be like brand new), so I sent them back. I, too, thought that vanilla seats in a black coupe would look great.
Thanks,
Shawn K.

We know the figures for the exterior colours for each year but not the interior colours.
