Question Try this, see if your xfire does this

With the key out of the ignition, with the blower switch in the off position, push the air recirculation button below the air-conditioning button. My blower turns on , does yours ?

That's what it's designed to do. Same with the radio...the idea was to keep the car hot or cold depending on settings for grandma while you run into the store. Supposed to lat an hour.

Well there's a feature I didn't know about!

I believe it only stays on for 15 minutes. You can also use it in humid weather to prevent the a/c from smelling bad next time you get in.

it works well to clear out the excess water moisture out of the A/C system when you park.

Just imagine what you would find if you actually read the manual...

I use it when it is cold out and I run into the store to get my coffee or something.
I like this feature a lot.

I'll admit...I was tempted to make the same comment...but I realized the person making the response is new to the board (2 posts), so I deferred. I remember when I was new...to the board. However, I've also seen that many new owners of their used Crossfires didn't get the owner's manual.

Apparently Chrysler thought I would be better suited with a Pacifica manual than a XF manual. I did discover the wrong manual before I left the lot and they got me the correct one but never took back the wrong one...so I read both of them! Well, mostly just looked at the pictures!
