Giugaro Mustang...wow!!!
Giugaro Mustang...wow!!!
GIUGIARO MUSTANG...never thought i would say it, but from the looks of this mustang it looks damn fine...take a look.
was planning on trading in the g6 for a new camaro *to be the family car*, but if the next gen mustang looks anything like this, it will be a tough choice.

only Giugiaro, whom has designed many amazing cars, including: Maserati Spyder, 4200 Coupe *everyone knows these two*, the Lamborghini Cala Concept* can't believe that car was designed in '94, still looks amazing*, a few Bugatti concepts *late '90s i believe*, the Ferrari GC50 concept *'05 concept absolutely beautiful*, Lotus Esprit *the look that never changed*, can make a mustang look that good.

don't know how you speak on behalf of the older generation. my dad who is 50+ (owned a gto, and multiple other muscle cars) and all of his friend love the concept camaro. also i'm a member at camaroz28.com and all of the older members really enjoy the concept.
maybe some of the older members of this board will speak up?

Alright I'm an old guy and my opinion is...like the current Mustang a real lot but there's way too many of them on the road already and who could afford the special models they're making just to be a little different (GT, GTH, Shelby GT500, Shelby GT, Saleen, Rousch, etc, etc). Don't like the Camaro-side view not too bad, front view, get me a barf bag, Challenger I like what I've seen so far. Problem with the concepts is the general shape translates to the production car but the fit, finish and quality of materials goes down the tubes when going from producing a multi million dollar "one off" to a $30,000 production vehicle. Don't know how Chrysler plans on taking the 300C platform and turning it into a pony car sized vehicle. Haven't seen it yet off its high show car turntable and down on the ground so I can get a true sense of its proportions. I like what I see so far. But just look at the job Chrysler has done turning its show cars into production vehicles, Viper, Prowler, Crossfire and even PT Cruiser are all very close to production car in appearance and design. I think the Crossfire interior especially is unbelievably close its show car roots. We'll see what happens with the Challenger.

I am an older guy I had a '67 Camaro, but I can say this (my opinion) old car styles brought back refined attract those who heard and those who loved. I think it is harder to be new and creative. This is a gamble as who knows how it will be received. Just like old rock songs if it was loved then it can be loved now with a new twist. This is easy and most people will listen. It is much harder to write an original hit, same with cars.
I appreciate a new innovative design like what Chrysler has been doing, it is easier to copy the old than to create the new. Also even with all the stangs on the road Ford is still financially challenged.
