I was Driving today in my Crossfire and pulled up next to a new stunning SL55 AMG.
This is on my list of dream cars. So anyway we both pull into the same Wawa (store) and park next to each other. I am getting ready to tell this gut how nice his car is when a cute brunette walks over and is standing between my Crossfire and this SL and starts to tell me how nice my car is... She didn't even glance at the SL.
I just said thanks and smiled, the guy in the MB must have been pissed...lol.
I just found it funny and wanted to share. Truthfully I would trade my crossfire for an SL55 amg in the blink of an eye if I had the $$$... But then again who wouldn't?

 

That's too funny. Bet that guy was freaking out.

 

You know, eventually some of the "single guys" on this forum are going to get pissed off at us "married" guys getting all the attention from the young ladies.
But they're probably getting it too, and just keeping a good thing to themselves.

 

I pulled into a 7-11 a young girl early 20's was coming out takes a look at the car and says wow very sexy, to bad she meant the car.

The next day I was getting gas there was another guy at the next pump getting gas, he comes out of his car walked around my car and says, hot car what is it? I love when they ask what is it?

 

crossfires are very rare in alabama, so every drive-thru i go to people in the restaurants ask me what i'm driving. it's pretty funny.

 

I doubt the guy was pissed, with a car like the SL55 AMG he's probably tired of trying to fend off the ladies.

I spotted one this morning, all in black too, it really is a gem. I wouldn't mind owning an early body style of the SL from 1998, they also have nice lines and proportions.

 

Lol...that's funny. I guess people are indifferent of a car they see all the time. In Sarasota you can't go 1 minute (and that's generous) without seeing a MBZ or BMW. I only saw 1 Crossfire when driving to the dealer.

Also, with the concept-esque looks to it, it probably does draw more attention than a Benz.
