I have a thought!!! Is there any way to include everyone's location (state, country etc.) as part of each persons Avatar? I sometimes wonder where everyone is located and can't ask everyone I have contact with. I was communicating with a Forum Member from Singapore today and would have never known had I not asked. VERY INTERESTING !!!

 

Most of the members have it showing. It displays on the top right side of the screen next to user gallery. I'd also like to see more locations posted from everyone, but a lot of the newer members don't, or haven't as yet filled out the personal info on there user control panel.

I also think members should have a signature at the bottom of there posts. So many times a member will ask a question about there xfire and 1st responses are questions asking what color or coupe or roadster ect... When I first joined this forum most of the people that posted on here had a signature but now most don't.

 

It is nice to know where everyone is from. Personally I am from Findlay Ohio and have a Sapphire Blue Limited Roadster. One thing I will add this is one of the friendliest forums I have ever been on. Everyone is nice and COURTEOUS on here something I have not found on other forums.

Good one...just look for a street sign or something and let us know where you are for the moment.

As noted above...there's a place for locations in the title bar...encourage all members to update that information, also to add info about their XF in their signature line.

So why don't you include the city in your profile's location, rather than just Ohio?

It would be nice if everyone's profile included the city as opposed to just the state or general area like "Central FLA", "Orange County, CA", or "Long Island, NY" (no offense to those 3 members). It's just my preference.

And I also like seeing the signature having details about that member's car, including mods big and small.

I am in Hillsboro Oregon. Am I the only one in Oregon? I have seen a few people from Washington, but never any Oregon people.

 

i prefer "long island" partly because its the internet and you really don't need to know the town i live in. plus its probably easier for someone to recognize "long island" rather than a specific town (is it upstate, on the island, near buffalo, etc)?
