Replacement window sticker
Replacement window sticker
Maybe someone here can steer me in the right direction. I purchased my xfire used and was wondering if it,s possible to get a replacement window sticker or build sheet from Chrysler. I don,t know which dealer the car originally was delivered to. Just what this for my own personal records. Would Chrysler be able to help me if I can actually get them to admit they build the car (laugh). Thanks for all the help.

Re: Replacement window sticker
All, you can stop by your dealer and ask them (the guy at the parts counter did it for me) to type your VIN into their "star network" computer. It will give you a print-out with the build date and every option that came on the car when it was delivered. Its not a window sticker but it's a lot more useful IMHO.
Re: Replacement window sticker
FYI.
I went to the AskDrZ.com website and asked for a build sheet and window sticker for my SRT6 (I supplied them with the VIN).
They emailed me a build sheet for it, but said I needed to go to a dealer and ask them to print an 'original' window sticker specific to the VIN.
By the way - last week I asked Dr. Z (AskDrZ.com) to provide data on SRT6 models specific to production numbers by color, etc. The reply was 'The information you requested is not available at this time.' I'll keep trying though.

Re: Replacement window sticker
I asked my service guy if I could get a copy
of original window sticker. His service is
great BTW. He said it will take
an act of the almighty to get a copy
of window sticker... If someone has
an in, please let me know...
RPM, thanks for pursuing build data on SRT6's.
I am very interested. Will need this data for
Barrett-Jackson 2030...

Re: Replacement window sticker
Well I tried one of my 2 sure-fire ways to get a window sticker. It didn't work. My contact said the dealer that originally sold the car is the only place that can reproduce the 'original' window sticker.
I still have one more trick up my sleeve though. I'll let you know what happens with it.

Re: Replacement window sticker
Thanks everyone for all the help. Think I'll go the AskDrZ.com route and get the build sheet. Just an FYI to those of you who want a window sticker. There are companies out there on the web that can reproduce them, all they need is a copy of your build sheet and or depending on the company even hand written options as well as other info such as vin etc, for a small fee. Thanks to all for your info.

MAXXM, I go to Earnhard Chrysler on Baseline, in between
Rural and Mill (Tempe). His name is Bill Zeman. He has really
taken care of me. Done numerous repairs that wouldn't
be covered under warranty. He just doesn't repair,
he replaces. I went in the other day for heated
seat repair. Instead of unstitching leather and
then re-stitching, he order new covers... Just
an example. Tell him Ron in blue SRT6 sent you...

special treatment.
