Default Crossfire in Freedom Tower Plaza Rendering

I was on digg.com literally just now to look at a Freedom Tower article and what do I find parked on the street but none other than a Crossfire Coupe in rendered form. Talk about rare, odd and cool all at the same time.

I find it even more interesting that the "rendering" of the Crossfire has a European license plate.

My guess is that the designer is from Europe and owns a Crossfire.

If you enlarge the image enough, you can see the "spine" on the roof and the correct exhaust tips. Somebody was really into it.

Sugar3D is probably the model source... Woody sent me a link to them and I have the same free stock model. It comes with a European license plate shape, so thats probably why it's there. The architect doesn't have time to 'correct' stock model geometry. Only thing they did was change the plate decal picture so it's a real plate instead of the stock Sugar3D one and darken the windows.

It's even the same color as the one I have. Check it out...

Actually, if you look carefully, the stock model pic is not the same.... the stock pic's vantage point is from a slightly lower perspective.

midnightman,

What are you talking about? This is not a stock photo... it's a stock 3D model... I just took to screenshots in 3DS Max.

I like it! I think a roadster version would look even better.

I'm sorry. I misunderstood. No need for attitude, my friend.

Hehe...country boy...

Art begats art...what better than an XF in rendering. Architects love great form...well, good architects at least.

Yeah, plus plenty of easy, free parking on a busy weekday. I heart NY.
