Default How to stop oxidation

How can I STOP my headlights from Oxidizing? Please, I need help quick!!

It depends on if it's inside or outside. If it's inside then there is a TSB and you can go to a dealer and they'll replace the headlights.

If it's the outside I'm not sure if they can do anything but you can get some 3M Plastic Polish and Cleaner for about $20 total and it works great.

GatorLCA - How often do you need to reuse the 3M Plastic Polish & Cleaner? My beater is a 1998 Cirrus and the headlights are quite milky and even rough feeling.

I did it once and that was about 1.5 months ago and haven't done it since. I tried one of those headlight restoring kits (didn't work) but the cleaning process of using some compound with 2 different Grit sandpapers took out most of the cloudiness and scratches. I then followed it up with the cleaner and polish and they look new and are really clear.

So what about protection against the oxidation? I have been using wax every wash.
