Waa--aa-aaa!!
Tuesday I had to go to Gainesville (Fl.), a four hour drive, for four days for schooling to get a certification for my job. I decided to take my "baby" instead of the company truck even if it meant it would be on my "nickel" as it were. The thought of driving four hours up and back in that truck just didn't appeal to me at all, plus I haven't had the chance to drive my baby at all lately.
Well, I get there and the first thing I notice is that my front right turn signal had stopped working (obviously a burnt out bulb). Not a big thing granted, but it irked me just the same as the car is still fairly new (only 13,000 miles and less than two years old) and all of the cars I've owned in the past twenty-some years have given me zero problems (mostly japanese). I've been reading the posts and seeing where many owners have encountered multiple different problems, just thought I got a "good" one. I know, a bulb is no disaster, just should not have happened yet in my opinion.
And then...I'm driving back to the hotel from class on thursday and my radio (OEM w/navigation) goes THUMP, I immediately smell something electrical burning and it stops working, except for the faceplate readout, which took on a mind of it's own. After turning it off and on and realizing it's toast, I turn it off, only to see it turn itself back on the reading prominently displaying PHONE (wth??). Hopefully it's still covered under warranty. The reason for the WAAA at the beginning is because I had a four hour trek back home with NO tunes.
Up until now the car had been perfect, I even used the nav system quite frequently with no complaints.
OK, this is my first thread (I know, I know, bout time!) and I don't want to come across as a whiner, just kinda disappointed. Irregardless, the car is a keeper no matter what, I could go on and on and on about the GOOD qualities of the car, but I've
rambled enough for right now.

That sucks on the radio cause a four hour drive home with no radio is torture, my radio blw on me once coming home and I still had about an hour to drive so I feel ya.
Sorry to hear about the problems, John. But hey, those are minor issues and are easy to resolve. It could have been worse...
Like an un-inflatable flat tire.
We gotta meet up at the Bonefish some night.

Hmmm, it wasn't a burnt out bulb after all. I pulled it, bulb was fine, switched bulb and holder with other side, still didn't work, switched back, and both work now. Loose connection I guess. Now all I have to do is decide which dealer to go to for the radio replacement, when I get the time.
