Default the cut off

the cut off is at 6,000 rpm or 7,000 rpm ??

6 is when redline starts and 7 is the cut off, so 6 --- 7 is the red line.

The rev limiter is at 6,200 rpm. It will cut the fuel to the injectors...

I'm pretty sure it depends - there is also a lower 'unladen' cutoff. In other words, if the engine senses no load, it will cut off at a lower RPM than it will under load.

i believe the cutoff for an auto is 6k even, 6,200 is for manuals. i bounced off it 3-4 times yesterday in 4th gear at the track.

Yes... I believe that is 4,000.
