I just purchased a 2006 Limited for $25K yesterday (internet deal). I thought the same thing, but I love leather and high seat backs, and wanted Sapphire Silver - I believe the base model only come in black.

I priced out "fitting" a base model with all the things I wanted plus a new paint job and decided it was to much work - so I splurged. But I agree with nascarhq, the 18K for the base is a steal if it has what you want.

Actually I still have time to change my mind. I have not taken delivery yet. I have to take a train to the dealers this on saturday and do the paper work. But I LOVE the SAPPHIRE SILVER and look forward to buying A/M performance stuff.

 

i think the warrantee is transferable.
