For those of you that have after market warranties...like Warranty Direct for example...Who has made a claim thru them and what was your experience?

Also...during my search about warranties...some of you mentioned a "Chrysler Warranty"...but not through a Chrysler Dealership. Is that an aftermarket product...and can it be used anywhere...or only at Chrysler dealerships...and is it the same as the ones thru a dealer? What's the advantage?

I've had a couple of cars including my current Crossfire with an extended warranty thru Chrysler. Any Chrysler dealer can sell a Chrysler warranty, but the pricing varies greatly between dealers. Also, you can only use it at a Chrysler dealer, but it can be any Chrysler dealer. On the plus side, there's no claims to file. I had a transmission replaced a few years ago on a Dodge Stealth twin turbo AWD and the Chrysler extended warranty saved me nearly $8,000.
